Wade Pierce has been named Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Purchasing Power, LLC, one of the fastest-growing e-commerce voluntary benefit companies offering a leading employee purchase program through the convenience of payroll deductions. Pierce will be based in Atlanta and report directly to Purchasing Power Chief Executive Officer Richard Carrano.

In his new role, Pierce will oversee the business planning, accounting, budgeting, capital structure, securitization funding, and risk management efforts for the company. His responsibilities include the development and implementation of the organization’s fiscal function and performance, including financial statement preparation, analysis, treasury and portfolio management. Pierce also will evaluate and advise at the executive level in the strategic planning, annual budgeting and forecasting processes of the company’s ongoing programs and business growth opportunities.

“Wade is a seasoned financial executive with practical, hands-on financial management and accounting knowledge as well as a passionate leader who helps drive business results, not just manage people,” said Carrano. “He brings tremendous skills to Purchasing Power, demonstrated by his considerable track record of providing finance vision, strategy and leadership to companies that have grown to the next level. We look forward to Wade’s contributions to help us achieve our aggressive growth goals for the future.”

Pierce assumes CFO responsibilities from Scott Rosenberg, who was named President earlier this year.

Previously, Pierce served as CFO at Sierra Auto Finance LLC/DriverUp Corporation in Dallas, TX, where he was responsible for all financial, treasury and compliance operations of the company and its subsidiaries. Prior to this, Pierce served as North American Controller for Citi Retail Services, a division of Citigroup. Additionally, he held several roles of increasing responsibility at Sears, Roebuck and Co., including Director of SEC Reporting and Controller of Sears Credit. Pierce began his career in public accounting and was a senior manager with KPMG LLP in Chicago.

Pierce received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Illinois State University in Normal, IL. He is a certified public accountant and a member of Financial Executives International.
