Purchasing Power® Appoints new VP of Merchandising & VP of Account Management

Purchasing Power has made two key appointments, David Carlock as Vice President of Merchandising and Cliff Kiel as Vice President of Account Management. Both positions report to Elizabeth Halkos, Chief Marketing Officer with Purchasing Power. 
David Carlock brings a history of success in consumer electronics to Purchasing Power. Most recently Domain Head of Consumer Electronics at, David spent four years as Vice President of Merchandising for Ultimate Electronics, and seven years as Vice President of Merchandising for Hollywood Entertainment. David studied Theology at Multnomah University and Business Administration at Portland State University in Portland, Oregon.

I look forward to working with the team to drive growth in core strategic product categories, strengthen our supplier base, widen our product and service assortment, and improve our customer shopping experience.”

Cliff Kiel brings over 24 years’ experience in client relationship development in the insurance, health and pharmaceuticals industries to Purchasing Power. Prior to joining Purchasing Power, Cliff was Regional Director, Account Services with ValueOptions, where he was responsible for strategic initiatives focused on client retention and revenue growth. Additionally, Cliff received significant account management, sales and strategic planning experience while at Caremark, United HealthCare, and Cigna. Cliff received his certification in Health Care Management from the Graduate School of Management at the University of California, Irvine and a BA from the State University of New York College at Oneonta.
